baby shower invitations

I'm always looking for a reason to have a party and I was hoping to get up to Utah to throw my sister a baby shower, but sadly, that's not going to happen. Wish I could be there, sis! Although, on the bright side, I was able to help with the invitations and you know I love that! I wanted to fill them with confetti and such so I decided to whip out that old mailer template that I made for Gifted a while back. Nothing's better than a little confetti falling from you party invitation, right?!

We made Valentine's postcards to send to the cousins. I wanted to make some where she could add her own little touch. Got to love those scribbles!

hello and happy weekend

I'm back! My eyes are a bit glazed over from lack of sleep, but baby and I are still doing well. Little G has been great and loves her baby brother and I'm fully enjoying being a mother of two. Anyway, anyone else excited for Valentine's Day?! It's my favorite. I know if you're single, it can be a bummer, but I love it in a more kiddish way than for the romance. Candies, cards, gift giving and hearts (a small obsession of mine right now), that's why I love you Valentine's Day!

Happiness, Baby J has arrived! And I'm convinced that he is as sweet as they come. I'll be back blogging soon, but for now, I'll be spending my time with this little guy.

I finally wrote down my goals for this year. Hooray! It makes it more official, right? I love this little bookmark, from Baum-kuchen, that came with a favorite gift from my sister-in-law (she got me these!). Now I can be reminded of them often.
